It is the year of the Grevillea also known as the spider flower – everywhere you look they are busting out with colors with their “toothbrush” like flowers.
Natives have loved our wet winter followed by some days of bright sunshine. It shows how many colors are available – the hotter the weather the brighter the flowers. They are often the only plants in flower and the birds are completely attracted to them and spend a lot of time getting the nectar out.
