Angophora subvelutina (Myrtaceae) Tree

Angophora subvelutina, also known as the Broad-leaved Apple, is a native Australian tree belonging to the Myrtaceae family. It is a medium-sized tree, typically reaching heights of 17-25 meters, with a fibrous or flaky greyish bark. It really is the most interesting tree – looks a bit like it should be in “Lord of the Rings”

It is also the March Plant/Tree of the Month
