We wanted to build a “Secret Garden” – like the movie and a place within Uccello Lane that was hidden and looked old and mysterious – a bit like a Hobbit House, but above ground.

Spoke to gardeners, pavers, stone masons, brick layers, carpenters, landscapers but maybe it was the words “Secret Garden” or we were just bad at explaining – however no-one was really on board.
So…. we thought of crumbling walls and an outlook up to the Wisteria Colonnade.
It wasn’t until Mick Harris came along and said he would “give it a go” that we started – and we are so glad we did!. Then Mary-Lou Pittard made us the most amazing tiles and there it is – The Secret Garden!
