At Uccello Lane there is a cottage garden which runs a bit wild but is always interesting- there are salvias, a random climbing rose and various herbs.
The fantastic “autumn into spring” flowering Japanese Windflower (Anemone x hybrida) dominates the ground and has to be regularly cut back just to contain it. In the early morning under the shade of the magnolia tress the windflowers stand tall and follow the sun.
